Lise Alschuler, ND
Lise Alschuler is a naturopathic doctor with board certification in naturopathic oncology and has been practicing since 1994. Dr. Alschuler is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Arizona where she is the Assistant Director of the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. She graduated from Brown University with an undergraduate degree in Medical Anthropology and received a doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University. Dr. Alschuler is past-President and Board member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and a founding board member and immediate Past-President of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) recognized Dr. Alschuler in 2014 as Physician of the Year. She also received an honorary degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and the Joseph Pizzorno Founders award from Bastyr University in the same year. She was honored with the AANP President’s award in 2016 and received the Impact award from the National Association of Nutrition Professionals in 2017.
Dr. Alschuler envisions a world where all individuals with disease are offered personalized integrative care and are empowered to live exuberant and meaningful lives. She calls Tucson, AZ home. -
Amy Summers
Amy Summers founded Pitch Publicity® in her mid-20s, establishing a proactive public relations agency in 2003 that has delivered billions of earned media impressions to more than 100 companies and organizations. Notably, she holds the distinction of being the first publicist to orchestrate live media interviews at both low and high points of the planet: the scientific laboratory Aquarius, 63 feet beneath the sea, and the summit of Mount Everest, 21,000 feet above sea level. In 2020, she launched INICIVOX®, a platform designed to harness mentorship to enhance communication skills. Amy’s pitching methodologies and mentorship success stories are showcased through her popular microcast and podcast “The Pitch with Amy Summers” and “Pitch Live with Amy Summers.” A pioneer in remote work and virtual mentorship, Amy has earned education and communication awards in corporate social responsibility (CSR), and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) from PR News, Nutrition Business Journal and is a PR News Top Women Awards Honoree in business entrepreneurship. Based in New York City, Amy attributes her successful career start in public relations to her educational background at the University of Florida, where she has contributed her expertise through board service and as an adjunct lecturer. Featured in Time Magazine and USA Today and Good Morning America, Halle is a Transformational Wealth Coach, speaker, and writer who helps women clear their old patterns and beliefs so they can call in the financial power that brings freedom. Jen enjoys time outside of work volunteer coaching a variety of youth sports with her husband, Caleb; their favorite athlete being their 10 YO son, Cole. She appreciates the great outdoors and never lets a good weather day go to waste, as her border collie rescue pup won’t allow it.

Dr Duane Roan
Duane Roen has served as a board trustee for Sonoran University for eight years. He chairs the board’s Governance Committee, and he recently chaired the presidential search committee. With a career that spans nearly five decades in higher education, Duane was a faculty member at Arizona State University, where he served in a range of leadership roles, including program director, faculty senate president, dean, and vice provost. For the past three years, Duane has facilitated hundreds of memoir-writing workshops in venues such as libraries, museums, retirement communities, schools, lifelong learning programs, and men’s and women’s prisons.

Nikki Putnam Badding
Nikki Putnam Badding, MS, RDN, LD is a registered dietitian, agri-food and nutrition consultant, and seasoned public speaker based in Austin, Texas. As the principal of Putnam Badding Consulting, she offers strategic expertise in sustainable agriculture and human nutrition solutions, product development and commercialization within the agri-food and nutraceutical sectors.
Previously, Nikki founded and served as the managing director of a direct-to-consumer nutraceutical business specializing in cognitive and gut health and sustainable wellness.
Her experience also includes a role as the global director of human nutrition initiatives at a leading agri-food multinational and a supermarket dietitian. She earned her bachelor's degree and completed her dietetic internship at Iowa State University, followed by a master’s degree in nutritional science from the University of Kentucky. Additionally, she completed a mini-MBA in agri-food business at University College Dublin in Ireland.
An active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Nikki serves as an Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) Liaison and sits on the Academy’s Foundation Scholarship Committee. She also supports the programming committee for Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN), where she promotes collaboration and advancement within the industry.

Nima Alamdari
Dr. Nima Alamdari is a Harvard-trained muscle physiologist specializing in nutrition, health, and sports science. With over 20 years of direct research involvement focused on muscle metabolism and physiology at some of the world’s top-tier universities and research organizations, he is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge science for optimal performance, fitness, and health. He previously served as a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Ritual, as well as an Honorary Professor at the University of Exeter, where he publishes influential research in nutrition, sports science, and medicine. His work also explores the role of nutrition and exercise in women’s health across the lifespan, including pre-, peri-, and post-menopause transitions. A passionate athlete, he lives (and runs) in Los Angeles.Joshua’s odyssey led him to Buddhist monasteries in Thailand and Cambodia, Hindu ashrams in India, and the revered Siddha masters of South India. For nearly a decade, he lived under the guidance of his Guru, Sri Sakthi Amma, in Tamil Nadu, learning the ancient art of sound healing as a tool for spiritual and physical renewal. This sacred knowledge, combined with his training as a licensed massage therapist, Yoga Alliance-certified instructor, Ayurvedic practitioner, and Reiki master, allows Joshua to offer an unparalleled depth of healing.

Susan Mitmesser
Dr. Mitmesser is the Chief Science Officer at Pharmavite. She is an accomplished scientific expert with over 20 years of extensive experience in research and nutritional biochemistry across various industries and sectors, including food, dietary supplements, academia and clinical settings.
Dr. Mitmesser serves on the Editorial Board of four peer-reviewed journals and is well published herself, contributing to over 50 publications and book chapters relating to nutrition in adult and pediatric populations.
Dr. Mitmesser holds 2 adjunct professor appointments in the Department of Nutrition Sciences at the University of Connecticut and in the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. She holds a PhD in Nutrition Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska and a master's degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Dr. Mitmesser is an active member of the American Society of Nutrition, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the New York Academy of Sciences. She also serves on the Senior Scientific Advisory Council for the Council for Responsible Nutrition.

Karin Hermoni, Ph.D., is a globally recognized nutrition and wellness expert known for blending cutting-edge scientific expertise with extensive industry experience.
