Research Focus:

Utilizing advanced techniques including HPLC-MS/MS to characterize flavonoids. Using digestion model, cell models, chronic diseases (obesity, diabetes, intestinal inflammation etc.) animal models, and humans, to study the absorption, transport, metabolism, and transformation of natural bioactive compounds. Using biochemical techniques such as Western blot, ELISA, PCR, IHC, CRISPR-Cas9, as well as bioinformatic methods like RNAseq and ChIPseq, to explore the regulatory mechanisms of natural bioactive compounds on chronic diseases.
