Meet Sara Rosário: A Trailblazer in the WIN Mentorship Program
The Women in Nutraceuticals (WIN) Mentorship Program is a cornerstone initiative designed to champion the WIN mission: supporting women in the global nutraceutical industry to unlock their personal and professional potential and achieve success in their careers.
The Mentorship Program prepares women for executive and board positions through guidance, coaching, advocacy, and the influence of experienced leaders. The program aims to increase the number of women in leadership roles, and foster equal opportunity in industry leadership.
As part of this initiative, WIN had the privilege of speaking with Sara Rosário, a participant in the inaugural Mentorship Program and Co-Founder of Rosapharma Consulting, based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Sara's Experience in the WIN Mentorship Program
"I joined WIN’s 6-month Mentorship Program in November 2023 to develop my entrepreneurial skills," said Sara. "It was a fantastic opportunity for me to expand my network and improve my communication skills."
Paired with Pelin Thorogood, Co-Founder of Radicle Science, Sara was able to benefit from expert guidance tailored to her unique goals and aspirations. This mentorship opened doors to international opportunities, including participating in global events such as Vitafoods Asia and SupplySide West in the United States.
"The mentor-mentee pairing was executed exceptionally well, with the WIN mentorship committee matching me to Pelin based on my needs and personality," Sara notes.

Reflecting on the program's impact, Sara expressed deep appreciation:
